Attraction Levels of Kpop Groups – VIXX vs MBLAQ vs Infinite

This post is written from almost a week in the past, since I’m going to be busy today. Wow, calling it today when it’s really not today feels weird. Anyway, here is the general outline of how these posts work:

1. Between two and four groups of the same sex are chosen. (Almost all posts will be three groups, and most will be with male groups)

2. Each member within each group is presented through three pictures and scored from one to ten, based on how attractive I find them.

3. Each group’s average score is calculated and the winning group is announced.

4. The three members with the highest scores from each group go head to head, and an individual winner is announced.

5. Plenty of polls are added in the end so can you show how much you agree or disagree with me.

Pretty simple right? Okay let’s start with the first group, VIXX!

VIXX

First Candidate: N

I think N is adorable. He does look a little younger than he actually is, but his look doesn’t seem childish to me at all, so I find him cute, and not too young-looking. He does have some nice sex-appeal on stage as well.

Score: 7.5

Second Candidate: Leo

I am absolutely crazy about guys with long hair, that’s a fact. And since the first time I encountered VIXX, and therefore also Leo, was during the ‘Hyde’ era, I kind of fell in love with him. I don’t find him nearly as attractive without the long hair though and I’ll try not to be too affected by the memories of those glorious flowing locks wile scoring him.

Score: 7

Third Candidate: Ken

I think Ken is a very charismatic and dynamic person (and sometimes kind of an attention-whore, but let’s not get into that yet), but I’ve never been that physically attracted to him.

Score: 6.5

Fourth Candidate: Ravi

Wow, I did not know he had such a nice body. Maybe I’ll have to reevaluate my judgement of this guy… I mean, Ravi’s good-looking and all, and I love a guy with a deep voice, but I’m not overly in love with him.

Score: 7

Fifth Candidate: Hongbin

Here we have him, the artwork. The guy with the pretty much flawless face. Honestly, I like guys with more distinct faces, so Hongbin is actually a little too pretty for me to be very attracted to him. He is very prince charming-looking, and even though he can be cute, his face has a very distinct masculine vibe, that I like.

Score: 8

Final Candidate: Hyuk

Hyuk is young, and he looks young. Not in a bad way though, he really just looks his age, which isn’t a bad thing. Okay he might pass for a little younger than his age, at times, but that’s really just because he acts cute.

Score: 7.5

MBLAQ

First Candidate: Seungho

Seungho is very handsome, and he does have excellent lips, but I’m not sure if I’ve ever felt that physically attracted to him. I guess he’s just not my type, or something.

Score: 7

Second Candidate: G.O

Thank all the kpop gods that that hideous mustache is now history. I’m becoming more and more attracted to G.O every time I see him nowadays. He really is kind of a super hottie. He has a very masculine look, and for some reason he just looks very kind, which is nice.

Score: 8.5

Third Candidate: Lee Joon

I’ll admit it right now, I’m in love with this guy. I’m not sure what it is about him that makes me so attracted to him, but I am officially very Lee Joon-biased. Well, I know one thing that makes him great: He is an insanely attractive guy. He’s got the body, the smile and even a slight hint of androgyny that I really like.

Score: 9

Fourth Candidate: Thunder

Thunder is a pretty cute guy, but just as with Seungho, I’ve never really felt that attracted to him. He is one hilarious dude though.

Score: 7

Final Candidate: Mir

Mir is almost too adorable for words. He has a very clean-cut good-looking face, and frankly, he looks great. He is a little too cute for me, of course, but I do think he’s very good-looking indeed. I also love his overall persona, he seems like an awesome dude.

Score: 8

Infinite

First Candidate: Sunggyu

Sunggyu is a quite handsome guy but he’s not my style, at all. Not to say that I don’t find him attractive, it’s just that I’m not attracted to him. There’s a difference, I swear.

Score: 6.5

Second Candidate: Dongwoo

Dongwoo is in no way whatsoever a picture-perfect kind of guy. At all. But he does have a very interesting face, and he’s someone who’s very intriguing to look at. I’m therefore a big fan of his look, and find him quite hot.

Score: 7.5

Third Candidate: Woohyun

Woohyun has a very good face, that’s for sure. He has some cuteness mixed with some classic handsomeness, and the result is something very appealing, very appealing indeed.

Score: 8

Fourth Candidate: Hoya

There is something quite sexy about Hoya, but I’ve never really taken to his look. He does have a very distinct look, but not in a way I’m loving.

Score: 7

Fifth Candidate: Sungyeol

Sungyeol has a quite soft face and features that gives him a bit of a feminine look, which I like. I also like that he’s so tall, even though his super skinny long limbs make him look kind of like an alien at times. He’s a beautiful alien though, so who’s to say that’s a bad thing?

Score: 7.5

Sixth Candidate: L

L is one of those people that are just kind of too damn attractive to be allowed to be alive. He is one of my favorite visuals in all of kpop, and I find him so damn distracting that I sometimes forget that he’s not actually my bias. Damn you, and your super gorgeous face!

Score: 9

Final Candidate: Sungjong

If I was going to describe Sungjong in one word, I would choose beautiful. Not handsome, or even cute or pretty, it would have to be beautiful. I adore his feminine features, and find him to be one of the most beautiful male idols out there. Maybe even the most beautiful one.

Score: 8.5

Average Scores

VIXX: 7.25

MBLAQ: 7.90

Infinite: 7.71

Meaning that the most attractive group combined out of these three is MBLAQ! Congratulations guys! All the scores were higher this time around, so I guess these groups are generally more attractive than the ones from last week.
