CLC huh. They’ve switched it up a lot recently. It was not their sudden transformation into the new 4Minute that made me like them, but I now am curious to see if they’ll keep it going and if they can pull it off in the long run.
Almost 2,5 years ago I wrote a post where I (among other things) compared Troublemaker to the Star Empire unit Nasty Nasty, a comparison which was frequently made in those days. But now, when Hyuna has switched out her resident man toy for two younger models and with that change also altered many other things about the boy-girl unit she inhabits (like, the name) a comparison is even more “necessary”. So, shall we?
A new month has passed (and my semester has ended) and with it so much new kpop has come into our lives, ready to be judged by me.
Oh Ladies’ Code…. I absolutely loved them when they first came out, and confidently called them my favorite female rookies of 2013. But then the accident hit, and extremely sadly, we lost two lovely angels: Rise and EunB. But Ladies’ Code came back! And now the entire kpop fandom is looking at them with kind eyes, all of us desperately willing them to succeed.
Later review of last month than usual, I know, and I’m sorry. But here we finally are. April gave us some really good, some really interesting and some really awaited releases and here I have chosen 12 that I would like to give my two cents on. Continue reading
