I am a kpop fan, I’d assume that’s pretty evident. I also have a boyfriend, which you’d know if you’ve intensely followed this blog, especially if you’ve read my travel tales. These may seem like completely unrelated facts about me, but are they? Continue reading
This is the final end of the year post I’ll be putting up. I know that last year I put up a whole post about about my favorite album tracks too, but I haven’t been listening to many albums at all this year, I’m sad to say, so there’s no real point in doing that this time around. So instead you got this! The objectively best sixteen dude songs from 2016.
You know the jist, this is not the first time I’ve done this (2013, 2014, 2015). Only one song per artist/ group (subunits are counted as a different group from the main group) is permitted on here, no matter how hard that gets for me. These are the 16 lady songs that have defined my year, the ones I’ve played in absurdum. Get ready to judge me.
Okay, I know I haven’t blogged regularly since… ehm… wow… July? Damn. But did you really think that would mean I would miss to do my end of the year posts? I would never.
Okay, so since I obviously can’t/aren’t dedicating my time to this blog right now, I set up an instagram that you can go follow, if you want! The instagram is @topofthekpops, and there I’ll be posting (at least this is the plan right now) shorter comments about new kpop videos that have come out, or maybe about big news in the kpop world as well. I would definitely appreciate it if you would follow me there, and I hope you’ll enjoy! (Oh, and don’t judge me too harshly on the pictures, I am so not a professional instagrammer.)
Who will take the win? The old but good camp of Big Bang and 2NE1 or the newbie side of WINNER, iKON and BLACKPINK? Continue reading
Okay, it’s been a while, and now it is time. Today I will compare the more experienced groups of JYP Entertainment with the less so; the juniors that are stepping up to fill their elders’ shoes. I’m only including idol groups that promote as such, no solo artists and no disbanded groups. In this case that means Wonder Girls, 2PM, Miss A, GOT7 and TWICE. Continue reading
