Yeah, I’m not back. As you might have noticed.

It’s not that I don’t want to write, because I do. But writing has become a chore, something I feel stressed about doing. And I don’t want it to be that way. So, I’m taking a break. When will I be back? I don’t know. Will I be back? I’d like to think so. But who knows? I won’t promise I’ll be back, but it’s definitely the plan.

I’m a senior in high school right now, so there’s a lot to do. I’m stressing about tests, about squeezing driving lessons into my schedule and about my future in general. This is a time when I have to make some decisions about what I want to do with my life, and as I’m a freak when it comes to planning, I’m basically planning my life.

My interest in Korean pop culture isn’t dwindling, not at all. I’m still watching music bank and dramas, still keeping track of comebacks and still fangirling on tumblr. But writing for this blog takes a lot of time, and it’s not time that I can put in without feeling more stressed than I’d like to, right now.

Until we see each other again,

  1. Yeah, you definitely don’t want K-pop or writing to become a chore, because then it loses its value of making you happy.

Good luck with everything! I totally understand about senior year being stressful. That was honestly one of the most stressful years of my life. But college made things way better for me so hopefully it will for you!

    1. Thank you! I hope college will be a little lighter on me (at least when it comes to stress) so that I’ll be able to come back to writing then. I’ll keep reading your blog in the meantime though, so keep up the good work! 😉

  2. Good luck with everything!!! I hope your will choose to come back (: you started this blog for fun so it shouldn’t feel like a chore! Wouldn’t want it to seem like a job. Focus on school and your life and I hope to see you write in the future when you’re ready.
